Q:Can I ask how you painted that M4 Sherman? Gressing black basecoat/olive drab/ yellow drybrush?
Right, flat black base. Then Tamiya OD + a bit of Tamiya mud per Steven Zaloga. The OD+yellow drybrush looks better to the eye than the camera. This was a Legend M4 direct vision kit on a Tamiya Early M4. I did a crappy job with the resin bogies. I’m going to do a proper dust job on it. I want it to look like it has been knocking around Ft Knox on training.
I’m going to do it all again with a DML/Dragon kit some day.
Photos of my (and Aldo’s) Art 13 project. Miniature Minecraft! The wooden planks for the roof is magnetic and the blocks are all made of mod podge-d wood cubes while the tools, diamonds, and the tree leaves are laser cut wood and acrylic. Lava and water is also from laser cut acrylic, the lava is transparent so an electric tea light can be placed inside the box to mimic in game lava. The dimensions are ~16”x16”x16” while the individual blocks themselves are 1” and the top part comes off to reveal a storage compartment inside for transport. It’s not perfect but I am happy with how it turned out!
Photo credit goes to my classmate Robert who took the time to photograph everyone’s project. I went in and edited the photos.
This looks absolutely amazing!
